Tulip cruise Amsterdam destinations

Our springtime tour stops at the best springtime destinations in Amsterdam and Holland.

Visit the famous tulip fields near the coast, or the windmills. Maybe stroll through cute Dutch countryside villages. Or why not do it all?

Holland Windmills is pleased to offer you this special springtime tour to independently explore Holland, with the service of a private vehicle, driver and English-speaking guide.

We will pick you up from your cruise ship early in the morning to see the flowers at their best. The river cruise ships are docked in the river IJ, next to Amsterdam Central Station.

Cruise ship pick-up

If you’ve not yet embarked on your cruise ship to Basel, or if you are at the tail end of your cruise on the Rhine and staying in a hotel, we can pick you up from any location in Amsterdam.

Car/van, driver and guide are at your disposal for seven hours. The local beauty, history and culture are yours to discover as you travel at your leisure.

Flower Strip

The first highlight on this springtime tour is the famous flower strip near the coast of Holland. In springtime, this area is like a rainbow of colors.

In the centre of the flower strip lies the Keukenhof, the biggest flower garden on the planet. It’s the most beautiful garden in the world from the end of March to the first two weeks of May.

After the flowers we usually have time left for those other Dutch miracles: the windmills of the Zaanse Schans. This windmill village is situated north of Amsterdam.

Countryside

We also love to include some little countryside villages and lots of detours to quirky sights.

At Holland Windmills we like to get off the beaten path to show you the best our country has to offer.

We love to show our guests places where big tour busses can’t go and taxi drivers never heard of. And we like listening to your wishes.

This is what makes every Holland Windmills tour unique.

At Holland Windmills you don’t just buy any tour. We are local guys and know our country by heart. We know all you ever wanted to know about Holland and love to convey our passion to you.

This Holland Windmills experience can be booked at our Tour page.

Pricing is based per vehicle, not per person. Depending on the size of your group, we can arrange a private car for 2 or a van that comfortably accommodates 8 guests.
